That tweet right there is by a “honorable” member of parliament in this here Kenya. Bragging about how many times he’s been to jail. Which is not the issue really. Both individuals in the picture above have been to jail multiple times. However, Boniface Mwangi has largely been to jail for activism, which is a prime offense in this here Kenya. Anyway, the issue is not who has been to jail more or whether even someone has been to jail at all. This particular member of parliament was caught on camera shooting a DJ at a nightclub. The DJ barely survived and has had to live a disabled life since the incident, while the MP roams about freely tweeting such nonsense. This is our Kenya. Just came across a post that describes it aptly.
